    QUEBEC CITY, Quebec, Canada and MILFORD, Mass. - July 26, 2010 - Phytronix Technologies Inc. and Waters Corporation (NYSE:WAT) announced today they are entering into a collaborative agreement to develop a very high throughput solution based on the Phytronix Laser Diode Thermal Desorption (LDTD®) Ion Source.  The LDTD Technology combined with a Waters® MS/MS is geared towards high throughput applications in drug discovery research, toxicology, forensics, food safety and environmental monitoring.

     

     

    Phytronix Technologies Inc. will construct a new production plant to support growth of sales of Phytronix' LDTD ion source.

     

     

     

    The nomination of Mr. Jean Desrochers to the function of service director for the area of Quebec City is effective since January 4, 2010. Mr. Desrochers cumulates several years or experience and will continue to be in touch with the customers by way of its new functions.
